Oscar winner Sir Ben Kingsley, famed for his starring role in the 1982 film Ghandi, is about to appear in his very first Bollywood film Teen Patti. However he isn’t the only Hollywood name to grace this film as rumour has it that leading man favourite, Richard Gere, is also set to put in an appearance.

Kingsley’s experience on Teen Patti and his brush with the world of Bollywood must have suited him, as the actor is due to begin filming another Indian film this summer alongside actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The Oscar winning actor will play the emperor who built the Taj Mahal.
The 66-year-old will star alongside high profile Bollywood actor, Amitah Bachchan in Teen Patti. A myriad of other top name actors also appear in the film such as Irrfan Khan and Sushmita Sen amongst others.
A central theme in the movie, Teen Patti, is gambling. Kingsley will take on the role of a world renowned mathematician who encounters Bachchan’s character, a fellow mathematical whizz, at a casino in London. Together the pair get involved in the underground world of poker in Mumbai.
The film is due for release into cinemas on February 26th.
