Jevi is back and this time he’s teamed up with hit-maker PBN to deliver a chartbusting single that guarantees to conquer the Brit-Asian music industry by storm! ‘Margeh Margeh’ has an authentic bhangra flavour with foot-tapping and catchy beats, boasting every element of a successful dance number. And with a swanky video to boot, ‘Margeh Margeh’ is eagerly anticipated as one of Britain’s summer bhangra hits.
Cardiff-born Jevi, who took the industry by storm with hit singles ‘Changi’ and ‘Ishq Hogya’ from his debut 5-track EP Jorsh Jawani Da, has an emerging following in the country and is recognised as one of the hidden gems with raw singing prowess. Having worked with some of the industry’s finest such as Dark MC and Angel, Jevi’s upcoming release with PBN is eagerly awaited from the media and fans alike.
Jevi, who spoke exclusively to Bhangra.org, said how he works extensively to maintain his versatility. “For an artist, it’s what makes you stand out from the crowd,” says the vocalist. The young singer, who is already being contacted by producers and media channels across the country, has his eyes set on the AMA awards. “Why not?” he says.
Why not indeed? For Jevi, who has been born and brought up in a family of musicians, music is in his blood and the sky is the limit. His collaborations with Dark MC and PBN have already put him on the map and fans of the young star have been raving about his vocal talent.
