Top UK club DJ and music producer, DJ H, has done it again, this time scooping two trophies at the recent Punjabi Music Awards 2012. The UK based DJ, real name Hardeep Kataria, whose recent single Jawani 2 topped the iTunes chart and become an instant smash hit, walked away with two awards making him one of the biggest winners of the night along with fellow UK based artist, Jazzy B who scooped three gongs at the ceremony.
DJ H received the PMA award for Best Sound Recording for the track, Sahan to Pyarian and also Best Non-Resident Punjabi Music Director at the fifth annual Punjabi Music Awards which was held in Jalandhar on March 24th.
Jazzy B was another big winner on the night after the talented vocalist was named Best Non-Resident Punjabi Vocalist, and also received the award for Best Non Resident Punjabi Album for Maharajas and Best Music Video for Hukam.
Punjabi singer, Garry Sandhu, who recently hit the headlines after he was deported from the UK after he remained in Britain after his visa ran out, was also honoured at this year’s Punjabi Music Awards, winning the trophy for Best Male Debut Vocalist.
2012 is shaping up to be yet another great year for Kudos Music star, DJ H, with a hit record under his belt thanks to the success of Jawani 2, two PMA awards and having recently bagged a regular spot at a top Dubai nightclub as well as a growing following in Delhi and the Punjab.
