
G-Deep has a number of great tracks lined up for release in 2010
Punjabi vocalist G-Deep is set for a busy 2010 with a number of high profile collaborations in the pipeline, and the release of not one, but to albums.
G-Deep’s album Sher Punjabi helped establish him as one of the best up and coming acts, he also made history when he became the first American Punjabi artist from South Asia to be signed to one of the biggest Indian record labels, Times Music. G-Deep cites Gurdas Mann as one of his biggest influences although he takes inspiration for his music from many different sources.
The rising star has already racked up a staggering number of collaborations with acts from the world of hip hop especially. Fresh from a successful collaboration with B Projekt on their new album, G-Deep has already been back in the studio with hip hop master, Mobb Deep with their single, Mesmerizing Eyes, due to it the iTunes chart any day.
Before the new single has even been heard, G-Deep has lined up his new project and is said to be working with the Wu Tang Clan rapper, Cappadonna, on a new track.
2010 will also see G-Deep bring his album over to the UK, plus he has a new Hindi record which is scheduled for release in India during the year. So it seems we’re going to be seeing a lot more of G-Deep over the next 12 months.
