TeamPBN’s brand new debut single ‘Nachna Pawu’ is out today, introducing the dynamic new Asian collective to the world. The song is already gathering widespread attention with the video being shared on several social networking websites.
Singer-songwriter Sanj lends his vocals to the song that also features female pop R&B songstress Bambi, Punjabi singer Raj Bains, and of course music maestro PBN himself. Sanj was also a part of PBN’s last album and is now an important member of TeamPBN.
In this new venture, each member of TeamPBN will be releasing their own songs and collaborations under the flagship ‘TeamPBN’. The group will also perform together at shows and melas this summer offering the unique opportunity to see all four perform live on one stage!
In a recent interview to Desi Music Xpress, PBN talks about TeamPBN: “I have been in the Asian Music Industry for a little less than a decade now and in that time I have enjoyed working with some of the best singers and musicians we have today. When I started out in this scene the objective was to simply push my sound and music on a local level. With the loyal support of my fans I have managed to take my brand and music to an international stage and make a full-time career out of what started off as nothing more than a hobby.
“TeamPBN is a natural progression. It’s the next logical step in my career. I want to now spend my time developing and nurturing new talent and taking them as a collective to an international stage. I think there is a huge gap in the market. We are not a team who have one particular vocal style or music genre. The team is here to represent a true reflection of the diverse range of musical styles we as Brit-Asians have grown up listening to, be that R&B and Hip Hop, Pop music or full on traditional Bhangra.”
