Newcomers to the music scene Kamal Raja and Jasz Gill have unveiled their brand new high-budget video to accompany their debut single, Like A Star. Bhangra News is delighted to bring you a glimpse of the video right here, click on the link below to hear the new single.
The musical duo hail from Amsterdam however both have links to India and Pakistan through family members. Growing up in the Netherlands but with Indian roots means the pair have experience of the two cultures, something they hope to blend into their music.
Kamal and Jasz both come under the management of Amsterdam based label CJ Records. Although each artist is singed individually to the label, although the decision was made to combine their musical talents for their first outing in order to showcase their abilities to the full.
Like A Star will feature on Kamal’s debut album which will is due to be released soon. Kamal’s unusual use of desi lyrics combined with some cutting edge beats will help his music stand out from the crowd. Jasz has his work cut out as he’s currently combing his studies with a music career but is showing a great deal of promise as a fledgling performer.
