There’s only one week of waiting left for the release of DJ Dips’s brand new single ‘Ik Kurri’ featuring Inderjeet Nikku. The new Bhangra track combines DJ Dips’ familiar, foot-tapping beats with the brilliant vocals of established Punjabi singer and film actor Inderjeet Nikku. British-Asian producer, DJ Dips, is known for incorporating a traditional Punjabi style with some fresh, funky, UK-Bhangra beats to create a truly unique sound – and ‘Ik Kurri’ is no different. With its catchy lyrics and banging dhols, ‘Ik Kurri’ is sure to go down perfectly in any club, and be no less of a great shoulder-shaking party track than any of his previous hits, such as ‘Nachale Sanu Naal’, ‘Tohar’ and ‘Gerra De De’.
In case you’re not too familiar with Inderjeet Nikku, he is a singer of Punjabi, Bhangra, Dharmic, Romance and Pop music, which often has a Sikh undertone. Some of his hits include ‘Sat Sri Akaal’, ‘Khaalas’, ‘Sardaar Singh By Nature’ and ‘Singh Is King’. Inderjeet has also appeared in movies such as the upcoming Dil Pardesi Ho Gia and the 2012 comedy Carry On Jatta.
You can catch a sneak preview of the new track below where DJ Dip and Inderjeet Nikku talk a little bit about ‘Ik Kurri’, and give you a small sample of what to expect.
‘Ik Kurri’ is available to pre-order on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon.co.uk, and will be available to download from 28th February.
