She may not be a star of bhangra music or bollywood movies, but as one of the biggest names in popular music right now, Katy Perry is likely to be a welcome addition to the IPL opening night line up, and a major coup for the event’s organisers who’ll no doubt be congratulating themselves on bagging an international star.
India is famously fanatical about its love of cricket, and the opening night of the Indian Premier League in Chennai on April 3rd is one of the biggest nights of the year.
