Bhangra singer Des-C has dropped the first of his free songs as part of his summer long giveaway of new tracks.
The UK born vocalist has also created a brand new band, Team Des-C, who will be performing at various Melas across the UK over the summer months. The live bhangra band has been working on new material, both original songs and covers, in preparation for the summer full of live performances.
One of the first of the summer sessions free songs to be released was a cover of a Gurdas Mann track which was made available through Des-C’s official Facebook page on Friday.
As well as the steady stream of free live songs, Team Des-C has also made an entire album which has been made available to download for free from the social networking page. The free album from Des-C features 8 tracks in total, with a mix of original sings and also some recognisable covers which the vocalist has put his own stamp on.
Although Des-C is currently busy working with his new band Team Des-C, however the singer says he plans to return to solo work towards the end of the year, with plans for a new solo album to be released by the end of 2011 or in the New Year.
