Imran Khan due to kick off Asia tour next month

Imran's Asia tour will kick off in Pakistan

Imran Khan is fighting fit following the fall he suffered at a Dubai airport earlier in the year which forced the singer to cancel a number of live performances.

However the award-winning artist is now back to full health and is looking forward to kicking of his Asia tour next month.

After strict doctor’s orders prevented him from performing over the last few months, the singer decided to put this down-time to good use and instead took to the studio to work on some new music. Speaking in a recent interview, Khan said he has a number of “surprises” in store for 2010.

Imran Khan was spotted last week out and about in New York City with friend, the boxer Amir Khan ahead of his fight in Madison Square Garden on Saturday night. The pair were seen attending the mosque on Friday, before picking up some desi food and heading to the boxing ring.

Talking about his forthcoming tour dates, the star says he hopes to hold his first date of the Asia tour in his home country of Pakistan in June. Khan is planning to make a welcome return to the stage at the end of this month in preparation for the upcoming concert dates.
