Jawani 2 by DJ H tops iTunes chart just an hour after release

DJ H has done it again, bagging yet another smash hit number one iTunes record, this time hitting the top spot on the world chart just an hour after the single was released at midnight last night.

Two versions of Jawani 2 were released at midnight including the normal mix and the desi remix, and by 8am this morning the two versions had secured the top spots on the iTunes chart sitting at number one and number two respectively on the chart.

The official music video for Jawani 2 featuring DJ H doing all manner of crazy stunts including sky diving and motorcycle racing, has also been released to coincide with the single’s debut on the iTunes chart.

The stunning video was shot on location in Dubai and will definitely put a smile on your face as DJ H and Jas Johal live it up in the sun-soaked UAE and indulge in a whole host of crazy activities. The video closes with DJ H paying tribute to his friend and former Kudos Music colleague, DJ Unkz, who sadly passed away in February last year.

It feels especially fitting for H to pay tribute to the late DJ in Jawani 2 as the spirit of the song is to embrace life and enjoy your youth, a message which is especially poignant when you consider that some people don’t get this chance if their lives are unexpectedly cut short.

DJ H prepares for the launch of his brand new single Jawani 2

DJ H has released a number of behind the scenes footage on the popular online video sharing website YouTube, so fans can enjoy a sneak peak of exclusive footage from the official music video shoot for his forthcoming new single, Jawani 2.

The eagle-eyed DJ H fans amongst you will recognise the title of the top club DJ’s new single from one the music star’s previous smash hit singles, Jawani from the album Reloaded. That single was released back in 2008, with vocals supplied by the late Kaka Bhaniawala and became one of the biggest hits of the year, as well as a top selling single for DJ H.

The forthcoming single, Jawani 2, takes its inspiration from the original Jawani hit, although it is a brand new track in its own right. The message from the new single sings out clear and true, compelling the listener to enjoy their youth and live life to the max, and that’s the exact spirit that DJ H celebrates in the exciting new video for Jawani 2.

Shot on location in Dubai, the video depicts DJ H as he indulges in some hair-raising activities including sky diving, motor cycle racing, a spin in a helicopter and living the high life on a luxury speed boat, with Dubai as its stunning backdrop.

Kudos Music transforms the Celtic Manor Resort especially for the Transport Broker Awards

Kudos Music succeeded in transforming the 5-star Celtic Manor Resort this weekend especially for the annual Transport Broker Awards ceremony with their expert venue styling skills. The leading DJ entertainment and venue theming company dressed the venue for the glitzy awards ceremony and gala dinner and also provided the music entertainment for the after show party.

This is the third year in a row that the Kudos Music Roadshow had been invited to provide the DJ entertainment and style the venue for the annual Transport Broker Awards ceremony and they certainly didn’t disappoint.

The Caernarfon Suite at the Celtic Manor Resort, home to the Ryder Cup Golf Tournament 2010, was transformed into a dazzling party venue by Kudos Music with a white LED pea-light dance floor, red starlight backdrop and big screen illuminating the main stage with guest tables decorated with black table candelabras, rose petals and crushed velvet table cloths to create a phenomenal setting for the special event.

DJ H and Jas Johal kept the 250 guests dancing until the small hours with their pumping DJ sets incorporating a mix of current hit tunes along with some Indian and bhangra classics along with some R&B and hip hop numbers.

For the very first time, the Transport Broker Awards hosted the final for the Miss Limo beauty pageant. Miss Universe Great Britain, Chloe-Beth Morgan, crowned Gemma Roberts from the Vale of Glamorgan as Miss Limo 2012 which was one of the highlights of the glamorous evening. Kudos Music ensured the crowing of the new Miss Limo was a spectacular affair with confetti cannon explosions, winner’s music and dramatic lighting effects.

Kudos Music’s DJ H and Jas Johal back in Dubai by popular demand for top club night

Two of the most sought after DJ’s on the UK Asian club scene have been flown out to Dubai this week especially to perform at the biggest bhangra and bollywood night in the United Emirates.

DJ H and Jas Johal are topping the bill on Thursday December 8th in what is being dubbed the biggest and only bollywood and bhangra party in Dubai. The Kudos Roadshow DJs will headline the night at Sensations night club at the Crowne Plaza tomorrow night after the event organisers flew the pair out especially for the lavish event.

The bollywood and bhangra party at Sensations night club is being supported by Radio Spice who will be broadcasting some of the DJ sets from midnight on Thursday so even those who won’t be able to make the biggest Asian club night in Dubai will be able to tune in to the party on the airwaves.

As well as the headline acts which include DJ H and Jas Johal, the music makers will be supported by DJ Shadow and DJ Hani at the Sensations club night.

The top club DJ’s are no strangers to performing in Dubai as DJ H was previously in the UAE back in May when he performed at a number of club nights and also took the opportunity to shoot the music video for this forthcoming single, Jawani2, during his last visit to Dubai.

A brand new unreleased remix version has added more life to the popular Amplifier track. This new version has been remixed by Unkar, also known as DJ Unkz of Kudos Music.

From the age of just 14 Unkar possessed a talent to mix and blend all genres of music to create a unique fusion that he could call his own. Previously a DJ of the popular Indian and Asian wedding DJs, Calibar Roadshow, DJ Unkz joined forces with Kudos Roadshow in 2009. Unkar also helped to create Premier Roadshow.

Unkar’s cutting, mixing and scratching skills have led to him playing regular slots in London Clubs as well as the Asian wedding scene. As one of the most sought after DJs working on the international club scene, it came as no surprise to hear that DJ H had picked up the award for Best Club DJ at the Asian Music Awards at London’s Royal Festival Hall last week.

The annual awards show is held in high esteem by all artists working within the UK’s Asian music scene as a public vote determines the nominees and the winners.

As well as being a prominent figure on the international club circuit, DJ H is also one of the country’s most popular DJs for Asian weddings. DJ H performs at a whole host of wedding dates through his own company, Kudos Roadshow.

One of the biggest names on the international Asian club scene, DJ H, has been nominated for one of the top awards of the night at the forthcoming British Asian Music Awards ceremony.

The bestselling DJ narrowly missed out on the gong for Best Album last year for his hit record Reloaded. DJ H collaborated with long time friend and colleague, DJ Rags to create the smash hit album.

Kudos Music’s finest DJ H and Jas Johal will certainly liven Christmas day up for the party-goers in Hollywood after the pair have announced an exclusive gig on the big day in a top Los Angeles nightspot H.Wood.

The night will be hosted by none other than Bollywood film and adult film star, Sunny Leone. It’s quite a coup for Sunny as the event marks the first time an Indian film star of this nature has hosted a desi party. However the actress already enjoys a high profile in the USA having taken on roles in several movies and TV projects including, Girls Next Door, Ja Rules’ Livin’ it up music video, plus numerous appearances on MTV.

The gig at H.Wood is expected to be a sell out, with ticket sales already going through the roof.
