Jay Sean debuts his new look at the Grammy Awards

British Asian star, Jay Sean, debuted his new look on the red carpet at the 54th annual Grammy Awards last weekend, the perfect place to show off his new longer hair do. The R&B hitmaker looked years younger, almost reminiscent of how the singer looked when he first came on the music scene back in 2003 when he was Rishi Rich’s protégé.

The Down singer has grown out his hair, a departure from his usual skin-head look, and is now sporting a spiky head of hair. Jay Sean looked especially dapper on the red carpet at the Grammy’s, posing for photographers wearing a slick black suit with shiny lapels, teamed with a pale gold tie and matching handkerchief in his top pocket.

However it seemed as if the 30-year-old was feeling a little apprehensive at the prospect of showcasing his new look as the singer papped looking at his reflection in the car window. Jay Sean even took to Twitter to explain the picture, saying he was just making sure he hadn’t left anything in the car, insisting that he wasn’t “checking” himself out!

As well as showing off his new hairdo to fans this week, Jay Sean also treated his loyal followers with a special Valentine’s Day present. The R&B singer shared an acoustic version of his 2009 hit, Do You Remember, with his fans on February 14th to share the love on Valentine’s Day.

The picture shows the Down singer standing on top of a luxurious yacht, looking cool in shades and a simple shirt with a clear blue sky as the backdrop – if this picture is anything to go by, the video is set to be spectacular!

Cash Money Records boss and rapper, Birdman, is believed to be making an appearance in the music video, along with at least five super cars and of course, the lavish yacht which Jay gave us a sneak preview of.

It’s been reported that the new single is titled I’m All Yours, and will be released off Jay Sean’s new album. While it was widely believed that Jay’s new album would be titled Freeze Time, there’s been rumours that this name has been scrapped and the singer is in talks to rename the new record.

Jay Sean reveals music leak fears

R&B singer Jay Sean has revealed he’s so paranoid about being a target for hackers attempting to leak his music before it’s officially released, that’s he’s refusing to make any of the track titles public.

Speaking in a recent magazine interview, the singer from Hounslow apologised to his interviewer when asked for some of the names of the tracks on his forthcoming album Freeze Time, saying he couldn’t reveal anything as he fears that hackers could use that information to leak his music.

The Down singer has every right to be worried as his music has been the subject of online leaks in the past, most recently as this year when his track 2012 was illegally released on the internet, and also his single Like This Like That featuring Birdman.

Jay Sean said that revealing the names of the tracks on his forthcoming album would give would-be hackers a helping hand to leak his music as he said all it would take would be for the hackers to search online with the title and email a technician or engineer involved in making the song and pose as Jay asking for the latest version to be emailed to him, before you know it the unreleased single will be available for all to hear online.

Music hackers are causing major problems for lots of artists, earlier this month rapper and friend of Jay Sean, Drake, had his new album in its entirety leaked on the internet a week before it was due for release.
