A website dedicated to the popular Kudos Music DJ, DJ Unkz aka Unkar Singh, has been flooded with heartfelt tributes from friends, family and acquaintances since the news broke of talented DJ’s death this week.
According to reports, Unkar died in India at the beginning of this week. It’s understood the DJ had travelled out to India to attend his brother’s wedding which was due to be held in the country this week. It’s believed the nuptials have since been cancelled as the family struggle to come to terms with the untimely passing of Unkar.
DJ Unkz was a valued member of the Kudos Music family and a regular performer as part of the Kudos Roadshow collective regularly playing at big club nights and Asian weddings across the UK and further afield.
Last year, Unkar remixed bhangra singer Imran Khan’s smash hit single Amplifier. The remixed version of the popular track proved a massive hit with music fans who all scrambled to download the DJ Unkz remix and watch the exclusive video online.
