
Twin Beats release debut album, The Sounds Of Punjab
With 10 years worth of experience working on the club and roadshow circuit internationally, Twin Beats are now ready to release their debut album, The Sounds Of Punjab, with a bang.
The DJ act, made up of two men, have worked some of the biggest clubs and venues across the world and gained a reputation for on the party scene for mixing up some fresh new beats guaranteed to get a crowd on the dance floor. With their immense experience and top class production skills, bhangra fans have high hopes of the pair’s first album release.
The record was released last month and features some traditional desi beats combined with more modern urban rhythms. The duo have also teamed up with some of the best bhangra vocalists for the album and the result is some sure-fire hits with a great range of songs so there’s something to suit every taste. From male and female vocals to duets, love songs and upbeat dance floor fillers, The Sounds Of Punjab has really mixed it up.
One track from the album which is gaining much attention is a collaboration with legendary singer, Kuldip Manak. The song, entitled Manak Drops The Pressure, features a sample from a classic Milo track too. This collaboration may already be familiar to music fans as it’s been gaining widespread airplay for some time. Another track to listen out for is the first one on the album, Dil Vich Tareya, which features the vocals of the late Kaka Bhaniawala.
