Bhangra Dancers Wanted This Friday For Punjabi Film!

Hardy-SandhuIf you are an aspiring Bhangra dancer or just wanting to get amongst the action of the entertainment industry then we have just the job for you.

The Punjabi film Mera Mahi NRI (which stands for Non Resident Indian) is being filmed in Birmingham this Friday and producer, Raj Ram, is calling out for dancers to feature in a flashmob routine.

It’s a £1 million romantic comedy featuring Indian star Hardy Sandhu, with the Victoria Square scene requiring local people.

Raj Ram explained: “We are hoping for up to 150 people in normal clothes for a dance sequence for the film.

“We want all ages and backgrounds. It will be quite colourful.

“They will be led by a choreographer who will teach them the steps and put the good ones at the front for the bhangra dance.”
