DJ Harv returns with Punjabi Slow Jams

DJ Harv from the highly acclaimed Kudos Music camp returns to the fold with the third instalment of his live mix series.

Panjabi Slow Jams Vol 1 Cover Final 2In eight short weeks, Dj Harv has become somewhat of a Soundcloud superstar. With almost 75,000 hits in less than two months from his releases ‘Bhangra 2014’ and ‘Feel Good Bhangra 2015’ it was inevitable that DJ Harv would follow up with a third live mix.

There’s been a great response to the mixes, it’s pretty overwhelming. The fact others are enjoying it so much provides me with great satisfaction. Panjabi slow jams form a huge part of my personal music collection and away from the all the grand indian weddings and crazy club nights, this is what you will find me listening and jamming to. It’s been the toughest mix to do, the energy is all in the mix. It’s music I love, mixed and played in a way which I find enjoyable. I hope the support continues so I can keep on bringing these mixes out.

Panjabi Slow Jams Vol.1 is a 40 minute live mix, featuring internationally acclaimed artists, Dr Zeus, Gippy Grewal and Diljit Dosanjh, upcoming artists, Khan Saab and Ammy Virk and the relatively unknown Aarsh Benipal and Harjot.

There is a distinct formula to DJ Harv’s mixes, great track selection, great flow and expert mixing. This is expected to continue with Panjabi Slow Jams Vol.1.

With many DJ’s preferring to ‘produce’ studio mixes, refreshingly Harv is one of the few DJ’s out there who will openly put his reputation on the line by releasing mixes without the support of studio engineering. A bold and unique move from DJ Harv and it seems to be paying off.
