X Factor contestant Steph Woods covers Katy Perry’s Roar

Bhangra News bumped into Stephanie Woods at an event this weekend. She showed us her cover of Katy Perry’s Roar and we loved it! Stephanie is the twice X Factor contestant that made it all the way to judges houses back in 2007. Being booted out at boot camp gave her a new lease of musical life this year, delving into many different genres.

We asked Stephanie what she thought of Bhangra music.

“Its great! I love all sorts of music, this was not reflected on the show but my musical taste is very diverse and eclectic”

We were very happy to hear this, we asked her if she would consider making a Bhangra track!

“Of course I will try anything once” she replied.
